Percy faces charges of open murder, which is punishable by up to life in prison if he’s convicted, as well as possession of a firearm by a felon and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to court records. A pre-trial hearing is now scheduled on March 3 before Washtenaw County Judge David Swartz. The case against Nicole Denise Beverly, Percy’s cousin who was charged as a co-defendant in the fatal shooting, has been dismissed.
